Everything you need to know about joining Clip as a creator.
Clip is a UGC platform that connects you with brands who need authentic video content. You browse available campaigns, apply to the ones that genuinely interest you, and if approved, you create content and get paid.
Submit a creator application through our website with your portfolio and intro video. We manually review every application with a 7% approval rate to ensure we're building a community of high-quality creators. If approved, you'll get access to browse and apply to brand campaigns right away.
No! Joining Clip as a creator is completely free.
Earnings vary by campaign and video length. Campaigns typically pay between $25–$250 per video depending on the requirements, complexity, and duration. You can see the exact payment for each campaign before applying, and you're free to only apply to campaigns that meet your rate expectations.
Once your content is approved by the brand, payment is processed automatically through the platform. You'll typically receive payment within 7–14 business days of content approval via PayPal.
The brand reviews your application along with others and decides who to approve. If you're selected, you'll be notified and can start working on the content. If not selected, you're free to apply to other campaigns — there's no limit to how many you can apply to.
Yes! For physical product campaigns, you keep the product as part of your compensation. This allows you to create authentic content and genuinely experience what you're promoting.
You have 3–5 calendar days to deliver content. For physical products, this timeline starts from when you receive the product. For digital products or services, it starts from when you're approved for the campaign. Meeting deadlines is important to maintain your creator rating on the platform.
Yes. Each campaign includes one round of edits, so if the brand requests changes to better match their brief, you'll need to make those revisions.
If something comes up and you can't deliver, contact the brand and our support team as soon as possible. Consistently failing to deliver content will negatively impact your creator rating and may result in suspension from the platform.
This depends on the campaign. Some brands allow creators to share the content in portfolios, while others prefer exclusivity. Check the campaign brief or ask the brand directly before sharing content externally.
A strong portfolio showcasing your best UGC work, a clear and engaging intro video, positive reviews from past collaborations, and a profile that demonstrates professionalism and reliability. When applying to campaigns, show genuine interest in the product and explain why you're a great fit.
Yes! There's no limit to how many campaigns you can apply to. Apply to as many as you're genuinely interested in and can realistically manage if approved.
If a brand rejects your content, they'll explain why and you'll have the opportunity to revise it based on their feedback (within the included revision round). If there's a dispute, our support team at hello@useclip.com can step in to mediate.
Not necessarily. Most UGC content is filmed on smartphones to maintain authenticity. As long as your videos have good lighting, clear audio, and stable footage, you don't need expensive equipment. Focus on storytelling and authenticity over production value.
It varies by campaign. Some campaigns receive many applications, while others receive fewer. Brands typically approve 1–5 creators per campaign depending on their needs. Having a strong portfolio, positive reviews, a personalised application message, and a genuine interest in the product increases your chances.
Absolutely! If a brand loves your work, they can invite you directly to future campaigns. Building strong relationships with brands often leads to ongoing collaboration opportunities.

If you don't upload your content within the 3–5 day deadline, your account will be paused until you deliver the video. This protects brands and ensures creators maintain professionalism. Once you upload the content, your account will be reactivated. Repeated delays can negatively impact your creator rating and may result in permanent suspension from the platform.
